Google world's most popular search engine, Facebook's traffic witnesses 6% decline

New Delhi: Regaining top spot as world's most popular search engine in November, Google .com regained top spot as world's most popular search engine as Facebook.com witnessed 6 percent decline in its traffic.

Google.com is now the most visited website in the world in the month of November where people spent more time in comparing deals and shopping, according to web analytics firm similarweb.com.

However, in total, people across the world spent less time on non-shopping sites in November in comparison to October.

This resulted in market decline in the number of people visiting non-shopping websites.

While Google’s traffic fell 3.4% in November compared to October, that of Facebook.com fell by 6%.
