Abhishek Bachchan, Karisma Kapoor attend Mohit Marwah's wedding

The ‘Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya’ co-stars came together under the same roof at Mohit Marwah's wedding in UAE.

New Delhi: At a time when Bollywood celebrities skip events in order to avoid bumping into people they don't gel with, Abhishek Bachchan and his former fiance Karisma Kapoor came under the same roof for Mohit Marwah's wedding ceremony. 

However, as per reports, the duo did not encounter each other at the event. 

The ceremony, that took place at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah in Abu Dhabi, marked the presence of a host of celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Sridevi-Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi, designer Manish Malhotra, Shweta Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Athiya Shetty, Shanaya Irani among others.

Sonam Kapoor shared a photo from the wedding on her Instagram where she is seen posing with her 'Delhi 6'co-star Abhishek Bachchan, rumoured boyfriend Anand Ahuja, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Karan Johar.

In another photo doing round on the social media, Shweta Bachchan is seen sharing a frame with Karisma. 

Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, the 'Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya' co-stars dated for almost five years. The duo exchanged rings on megastar Amitabh Bachchan's 60th birthday party in 2002. However, the engagement was called off by the families after a few months.

Karisma married businessman Sanjay Kapur the next year, separated and got divorced from him last year, while Abhishek is happily married to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for a decade. The relationship is history for both the actors as they have put the past behind them and have moved on in their respective lives.
