Amitabh Bachchan requests producers to release his film 'Shoebite'

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has appealed production houses such as UTV and DISNEY to release his film 'Shoebite' on Sunday.

'Shoebite', directed by Shoojit Sircar and featuring Amitabh Bachchan, is reportedly stuck in a legal battle.The actor took to Twitter to express his agony. He wrote, “T 2753 – PLEASE .. PLEASE … PLEASE .. Utv & Disney, or whoever else has it .. Warners, whoever .. JUST RELEASE THIS FILM .. !! a lot of hard labour been put in ..???? don’t KILL creativity !!”

According to a report published in Hindustan Times, Shoebite is a story about an old man who sets out on a journey of self-discovery. It is filmmaker Shoojit Sircar's brainchild. However,  It is still not known what went wrong with the film and why the film hasn’t been released.

Meanwhile, Amitabh has some interesting films lined up.He has Thugs of Hindostan, which also stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, and 102 Not Out, where Amitabh will share screen space with Rishi Kapoor after 27 years. They will play the role of father and son in the film.
