Dipika Kakkar celebrates her first Eid with husband Shoaib Ibrahim—See pic

New Delhi: Popular television actress Dipika Kakkar, who shot to fame with her role of Simar in the television show 'Sasural Simar Ka' celebrated her first Eid with husband Shoaib Ibrahim on Saturday.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is celebrated by breaking the 30-day long fast with a grand celebration. The day is the only day when Muslims aren't permitted to fast.

The festival was brought by Islamic prophet Muhammad and it is believed that the festival originated in Medina, after he migrated from Mecca. In today's time, Mecca and Medina are considered the two holiest places of Islam.

Dipika took to Instagram to write a heartfelt note along with an adorable picture with her hubby on the occasion.

Dipika wrote- “My world is filled with happiness because its graced with your love.....Thank you for being the reason of this glow on my face.... Thank you for making me Mrs Dipika Shoaib Ibrahim... #Eidmubarak#shoaikakieid #shoaika #mashallah#blessed #alhamdulillah”

Dipika married her 'Sasural Simar Ka' co-star Shoaib Ibrahim on February 22 this year, after an elaborate wedding ceremony. 

In March 2018, Dipika admitted that she has converted to Islam. Shoaib and Dipika had also participated in celebrity couple dance show Nach Baliye last year and it was on the show that Shoaib had proposed to Dipika for marriage.

Dipika is a famous face on television and enjoys a huge fan following. She was also seen on 'Entertainment Ki Raat' recently.
