New Delhi: Becoming a legend is not an overnight job. It takes a lot of effort, and selection of good work which makes one being followed, loved, and worshipped (in some cases). While mentioning about a person like Gurdas Maan; one falls short of words to describe his aura. This megastar and the living legend will be seen on the big screen after a long while with his upcoming film ‘Nankana’. Recently, the makers revealed the much-awaited glimpse from the film. No sooner did the trailer drop in at the internet it received an outrageous response from everywhere. It is noteworthy to mention, that not only the people, in general, have huge respect for Gurdas Maan, but also the celebrated celebrities of Punjab and Bollywood hold highest regards for him. Not that we need this fact to be proven, but it just shows by the way general people and artist fraternity have rendered their respects and appreciation to the upcoming film ‘Nankana’s’ trailer.
Many artists took to their Twitter and Facebook handles to congratulate the ace artist Gurdas Maan. Just to name a few Sunidhi Chauhan, Richa Sharma, Mika Singh, Neha Bhasin, Amrinder Gill, Ranjit Bawa, Harish Verma, Mandy Takhar, Happy Raikoti, Sippy Gill, Gagan Kokri, and many- many more notable public figures congratulated the team on the successful release of the trailer.
The trailer seems intriguing and filled with emotions which instantaneously develop an emotional connect with the viewers. The living legend of Punjab- Gurdas Maan’s aura cannot be explained in a few words and his supremely powerful on-screen presence makes one simply get carried away. His character seems to hold a lot of substance as he is seen giving knowledge to young ones at school, a more secular side of the character is showcased when he is seen embracing a man of the Islamic origin. The film seems to be a fine blend of emotions like love, separation, and grief; meaningful preaching, teaching long forgotten by the people of the present- so-called “modern era”.
