Pratyusha Banerjee short film: Kamya Punjabi hits back at Rahul Raj Singh, says no one can scare me!

Kamya Punjabi is all set to unveil a short film featuring late actress Pratyusha Banerjee.

Mumbai: Rahul Raj Singh, boyfriend of late actress Pratyusha Banerjee slammed her friend Kamya Punjabi for promoting a short film featuring his girlfriend. Addressing the film as ‘bogus’ Rahul had alleged that Pratyusha never shot for any such film. And now, Kamya has hit back at him strongly.

According to report in dnaindia.com, originally attributed to Bollywoodlife.com, Kamya (who is all set to unveil the film on April 1, Pratyusha’s first death anniversary), is promoting it to help her late friend’s parents financially.

Reacting strongly to Rahul’s comments, Kamya said, “So, did he know that she was going to end her life? Did he know that she was so depressed that she would commit suicide? Tell him to keep his mouth shut. I am not answerable to the world and him. Her parents are with me and that is what matters."

“The producer has decided to give the money to her parents. Here, I am with all my heart promoting the film because the earnings will go for parents financial security. Woh apna naam zabardasti daal raha hai just because name of the hero is Rahul. It can be coincidence? Fiancee, my foot! Zabardasti naak ghusane ki koshish kare…This film is made by Neerusha and the money is for her parents. I am helping her release the film and nothing can stop me. Jin logon ka lena dena nahi, woh nahi aaye," she blasted.

“I don’t need this (money). My work is talking dude…my work talks. I am so angry right now. I have a lost a friend who was so young. Her parents are alone, no one can imagine their pain. No one can fill the void in their lives. We are trying to do something for their security. Where is humanity? He did nothing for them directly or indirectly. Jab koi aur kar raha hai, usse problem hai,” Kamya added.

Here's what Rahul had alleged:

"What film is she talking about? How and when did she shoot this film with Pratyusha? I’ve a record of all of Pratyusha’s activities in the months before I lost her. She was always with me. We went together to Ranchi for my brother’s child’s naming ceremony. Then we went to Goa. When did Pratyusha shoot this so-called film with Kamya?” DNA quoted Rahul as saying.

“This is nothing but an attempt to make money in a dead person’s name. How can this woman continue to use Pratyusha’s name to get publicity? Only I know what her thoughts and feelings were. She was planning a big birthday party for me when she was snatched away from me,” Rahul added.

Kamya, an actress and former Bigg Boss contestant also said that she doesn’t fear anyone.

She also took to Twitter to write, “Jitna rokoge utna aage badungi..!!! (sic).”

“Main kisike baap se nahi daarti. Rok ke dikha de. No one can scare me. I only fear God," the Bollywoodlife.com report quoted Kamya as saying.
