New Delhi: Priya Prakash Varrier became an internet sensation overnight after a short clip of a song from her debut film, 'Oru Adaar Love' went viral. The movie is directed by Omar Lulu.

In the song, sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan and composed by Shaan Rahman, we can see Priya making adorable expressions and winking to grab her crush’s attention. Her wink and expressions stole a million hearts.

Besides fame, Priya has also experienced the "side-effects" of being a celebrity. 

It was alleged that the song was "offensive and violated the religious sentiment of a particular community". Following this, Varrier and Lulu had approached the Supreme court. The apex court decided to stay the criminal proceedings against the young actress and the director.

As per a Pinkvilla report originally attributed to a leading daily, when the 18-year-old was about the actors she admires, Priya said, “I love Deepika Padukone.”

Well, Deepika has left everyone spellbound by her impeccable performances time and again, the latest one being in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat'.

The movie faced protests from various fringe groups and Deepika even received threats of violence. The movie, finally released on January 25, 2018 and also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

Ranveer essayed the role of Allaudin Khilji, Shahid Played Maharawal Ratan Singh and Deepika played queen Padmavati.
