Ranveer Singh meets 1983 cricket World Cup players

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who will soon be seen essaying the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev on-screen, on Wednesday met 1983 cricket World Cup champions. Filmmaker Kabir Khan, who will be directing the upcoming movie, was also present at the event.

If the pictures are to be judged, we can pretty much say that the former sports-persons had quite a ball with the 'Bajirao Mastani' hunk. 

In 1983, India won its first cricket World Cup by defeating defending champions West Indies. Dev served as the captain of the Indian cricket team then.
