Sunidhi Chauhan and Hitesh Sonik blessed with a baby boy

New Delhi: Popular singer Sunidhi Chauhan and husband Hitesh Sonik welcomed their bundle of joy on the first day of the New Year.

Sunidhi's'obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Ranjana Dhanu said, "The baby and mother are both doing well. Sunidhi and husband Hitesh are proud of their little bundle of joy who arrived at 5.20pm on January 1, 2018.”

Bhupendra Avasthi, Director, Paediatrics of Surya Hospitals said: "The delivery was uneventful and the baby boy is healthy and doing well."

Sunidhi, married to music composer Hitesh Sonik, is known for some of the chartbusters like "Ruki Ruki", "Dance Pe Chance", "Kamli", "Darkhaast", "Main Baani Teri Radha", "Bloody Hell" among many others.

The couple has indeed been blessed on the very first day of the New Year!

Sunidhi and Hitesh tied the knot in the year 2012 and the news of the singer's pregnancy came out in August 2017.
