Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali 2’ derails Rajinikanth’s ‘Endhiran’ – Here’s how

Mumbai: The Tamil version of the second half of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus – Baahubali – starring Telugu superstar Prabhas has reportedly derailed megastar Rajinikanth’s ‘Endhiran’.

According to Indian Movie Industry Tracker Ramesh Bala, Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali 2’ collection figure has surpassed the milestone set by Rajini’s sci-fi actioner ‘Endhiran’ seven years ago.

Set in the backdrop of a fictional ancient Indian kingdom named Mahishmati, Rajamouli’s two-part film – Baahubali – also stars Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia and Nasser.

The epic film that released on April 28 in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam besides Tamil, has minted over Rs 1000 crores worldwide.
