Mumbai: Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra has brought two hearts together! Love blossomed between Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on the sets of the film which also stars Amitabh Bachchan. And fans can't keep calm.

Ranbir, who has never been very vocal about his personal life, almost admitted to being in a relationship with Alia.

He is in awe of Alia and his words for her prove it. During an interview with The Telegraph, on being quizzed about Alia as a co-star, Ranbir said, "She’s a mighty force. At that age, the kind of films she’s done. Just a few days back, I was doing a scene with them and it was such a rare opportunity for me as an actor to see these two different kinds of actors — Amitabh Bachchan, the greatest of all, and Alia Bhatt, the potential great of all time. Words fall short to understand where her experience has come from, how she’s so spontaneous and colourful. I see that she’s extremely disciplined, but extremely blessed and talented also. (sic)."

Speculations are rife that Ranbir and Alia may tie the nuptial knot as early as 2020. During the interview with the aforementioned daily, Ranbir also expressed his desire to get married and have his own tribe. So marriage is definitely on the cards.

Ranbir is a heartthrob who has millions of female fan following. He was initially linked to his first co-star Sonam Kapoor. Later, he was in a relationship with Deepika Padukone. After his break-up with his Bachna Ae Haseeno co-star, Ranbir started dating Katrina. But his relationship with her went kaput a couple of years back.

Alia, on the other hand, was believed to be in a relationship with Sidharth Malhotra. But the two neither confirmed nor denied being a couple.

On the work front, Alia (25) and Ranbir (35) will be sharing screen space in Brahmastra for the first time and it will be interesting to see their chemistry on screen.

Ranbir is gearing up for the release of Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju, a biopic on Sanjay Dutt produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He also has Karan Johar's Shamshera in his kitty while Alia has Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh and Kalank with Varun Dhawan in the pipeline.
