New Delhi: The November supermoon was the most spectacular so far giving stargazers to witness the brightest full moon while providing them a chance for dramatic photos and striking surf.

On November 14, 2016, the full moon reached its closest point to the Earth since 1948 and it won't happen again for another 18 years.

As people across the globe errupted with stunning images of the supermoon captured by their smartphones and cameras, recently a new video posted on YouTube has baffled earthlings sparking fears of an alien invasion as a UFO was filmed speeding past the Moon.

In a video, posted by a YouTube user named David McCarty, a disc-shaped object can be seen flying across the supermoon on November 14. Watch the stunning footage below!

“The November 2016 Beaver moon supermoon was the largest supermoon since 1948,” McCarty, based in the US, said in his video.

“I thought this would be a special thing to film but when I was reviewing the video in full screen I noticed something even more impressive. I had caught a "UFO" passing in front of the super moon. Watch carefully at about 00:51 for it to pass along the bottom of the lunar disc,” he added.

Till date, the video has been viewed more than 60,390 times.
