New Delhi: High-flying India will take on minnows United Arab Emirates in their final round-robin encounter at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka on Wednesday of the ongoing Asia Cup.

India have already booked their place in the final and are unbeaten so far in the tournament. The versatile Indian team under skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has made sure they tick all the boxes right ahead of the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 this month.

UAE on the other hand, have failed to register a single victory so far despite bowling well in the coveted tourney. UAE will expect their batters to come good on Thursday despite a huge test awaiting them.

UAE's Amjad Javed has been a fine talent and impressed with his all-round capabilities against Pakistan in the previous match.

India will face Bangladesh in the final on Sunday and the game against UAE serves as an opportunity to get more confidence and practice.

Here is all you need to know ahead of the tie:

Probable playing XIs

India XI: Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Sinhg, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni/Parthiv Patel, Hardik Pandya, Harbhajan Singh, Pawan Negi/Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashish Nehra/Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

UAE XI: Rohan Mustafa, Muhammad Kaleem, Mohammad Shahzad, Shaiman Anwar, Usman Mushtaq, Muhammad Usman, Amjad Javed (c), Mohammad Naveed, SP Patil (wk), Fahad Tariq, Ahmed Raza

Form guide: India have won all of their last 5 matches, while UAE have lost 3 and won 2.

Pitch: The pitch in Mirpur has seen challenging scores so far and the same is expected. Pacers will be looking to excel here and there will be something for the spinners as well. Batsmen need to be wary of the bounce and respect the conditions. The key is to hang in there and play their shots once at ease with the movement.

Team news: India is likely to make some changes and test their bench. Ajinkya Rahane might replace Shikhar Dhawan at the top with Harbhajan Singh and Pawan Negi too might get the nod in place of the frontline spinners in R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. Even Bhuvneshwar Kumar could feature in place of Ashish Nehra.

UAE would likely field an unchanged XI.
