Australia vs India 2016, 1st ODI at Perth: Possible starting line-ups of both teams

New Delhi: Expectations from MS Dhoni's side are high, as Team India take on Australia in the 1st ODI at WACA, Perth on Tuesday.

After having won their first two warm-up games of the tour, the visitors will be looking to get off to a winning start in their 1st international game of 2016.

The Perth pitch, with its extra bounce, is expected to help the pacers. Hence the Indian batsman can expect to face an all pace attack.

Dhoni is likely to go in with six batsmen, fours bowlers and Ravindra Jadeja as the all-rounder.

Opener David Warner and skipper Steve Smith will be the danger men for India. Both batsmen have been in sparkling form of late.

On the other hand, India's fortunes will rely heavily on Virat Kohli as well as Ajinkya Rahane.

Here are the possible starting line-ups for both sides.

Australia XI: David Warner, Aaron Finch, Steven Smith (c), Shaun Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Wade (wk), Mitchell Marsh, James Faulkner, Josh Hazlewood, Joel Paris, Kane Richardson

India XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Barinder Sran

The five-match ODI series will be followed by a three-match T20 series.
