New Delhi: Ahead of the ICC World T20, England faced a major blow as their seamer Steven Finn has been ruled out of the premier event due to an injury on Friday.
As a replacement, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has picked Yorkshire bowler Liam Plunkett.
It means, now the 30-year-old Plunkett will team up with the likes of Chris Jordan, Reece Topley, David Willey and Ben Stokes.
After missing out on the opportunity to represent his country in the showpiece event, disappointed Finn shared his feelings via social media site, Twitter - "Really disappointed to have picked up another injury on my road to recovery. Gutted doesn't describe it. Good luck to the guys out there."

It was Finn's calf strain which forced him to withdraw his name. In the recent past too, the lanky bowler has struggled a lot with his injuries.
However, for Plunkett, Finn's injury came as a blessing in disguise.
