Former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan made his debut as a commentator in the cricket match between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20.

New Delhi: Former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan made his debut as a commentator in the cricket match between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20.

Zaheer joined former Pakistan legend Shoaib Akhtar in the Hindi commentary box for Star Sports as the first over was bowled on Wednesday by Bangladesh.

Zaheer Khan followed his teammate of yesteryears Virender Sehwag, who made his commentary debut on Tuesday in the match between India and New Zealand.

The duo were invited by the channel to join the Hindi commentary team to make it more interesting for the fans.

Both Zaheer and Sehwag will hope their skills in commentary shines just like their careers. They also have former India teammates commentating in Hindi such as Aakash Chopra, Murali Karthik and Mohammed Kaif.

On Tuesday Kaif had tweeted about the excitement of having the duo as match analysts.
