India vs England: Virat Kohli survives injury scare in Mumbai — VIDEO

New Delhi: India captain Virat Kohli survived an injury scare while fielding on the second day of fourth Test against England at in Mumbai on Friday.

Kohli, 28, chased a thick edge from Chris Woakes' bat off the first ball of 105th over, bowled by Ravichandran Ashwin.

But the skipper got stuck while attempting a slide at third man. Here's the video footage:

Since the start of the New Zealand series in September, Indian Test team is fighting with a series of injuries.

Even on the eve of the Mumbai Test, India lost Ajinkya Rahane, who picked an injury during a pre-match practice session. Then there is ongoing opening woes, but luckily KL Rahul returned for the fourth Test.

An injury to Kohli would have served a huge blow to India.
