Shikhar Dhawan records fifth ODI ton in 2013

Kanpur: Shikhar Dhawan is fast becoming a symbol of consistency as the southpaw on Wednesday slammed his fifth ODI century of 2013. Dhawan opened his account with a boundary in the second over of the game as he along with Rohit Sharma began India’s reply to West Indies target of 264 runs. In fact, his first 24 runs were all scored in boundaries. He reached his fifty in 43 deliveries while for the next fifty, he took just 30 more. He ended up as the third highest run-getter with 159 runs in the three matches. India’s Virat Kohli leads the chart with 204 runs followed by Dwayne Bravo at second with 160 runs. For his effort in Kanpur ODI, Dhawan was adjudged Man of the Match.
