But Raina and Jadeja returned the favour by winning many matches for their captain, especially in the T20 format.
In fact, Raina has always played under the captaincy of MSD in the Indian Premier League since its inception, under the banner of Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
When it comes to the shortest format of the game, Raina and Jadeja easily slip inside the category 'utility players'.
If Jadeja is a proven all-rounder, than Raina too can make a real difference with his blistering knocks, outstanding fielding and more than handy bowling.
