While they have some swashbuckling batsmen in Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Shane Watson, they also have Sarfaraz Khan, who played a stupendous cameo against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the team's opening encounter.
Reacting to the youngster's 10-ball 35, Gayle showered praise on him and said that he is like a buddy and like a son to me.
"We get along well. Sarfaraz keeps texting me and the way he played today was fantastic. He's too young and he's like a son to me. He's definitely one for the future and one must keep an eye on him," said the West Indian.
