RCB are playing with the same squad. Surprisingly, KXIP have brought in Rishi Dhawan in place of Murali Vijay.

Toss: Virat Kohli has won the toss and he has decide to bowl first.

Another inspection to take place at 10:05 pm.

There was an official inspection done at 9:30 pm and no final decision has been taken so far.

The toss has been delayed as it's raining in Mohali!!

They will be playing at their home ground, and even though KXIP have won just two out of 12 matches, George Bailey and his boys will be looking to spoil RCB's momentum.

Punjab lost a close match against Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier in the tournament where David Miller almost single-handedly won the match for his team. Unlike other teams, Punjab have struggled to get good starts, something they did consistently last year.

Bangalore, on the other hand are in great form and two of their world class batsmen – AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli made a mockery of the Mumbai Indians bowling attack and showed what a batting powerhouse they are in the tournament. In the bowling department, the only concern for RCB would the form of their Indian pacers and if they get going, Bangalore will have a strong chance of winning their maiden IPL title.

RCB are the only team in the tournament who are yet to play three matches and a win against Punjab would take them to third position in the points table. In case if they manage to win with a good run-rate, they might rise to the second position, ahead of defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders.
