IPL 2016: Amit Mishra reprimanded for using inappropriate language

New Delhi: Amit Mishra was reprimanded by the Match Referee Javagal Srinath for using inappropriate language during their Delhi Daredevils' Indian Premier League match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Delhi on Saturday.

Mishra, 33, admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.4 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction.

For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding.

In the match, the seasoned leg-spinner took a blinder of a catch to get rid of dangerous Andre Russell.

DD won the match by 27 runs.
