Mishra took a dangerous return catch to send back Russell.

New Delhi: Seasoned spinner Amit Mishra produced a blinder, real blinder to shock everyone in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday in Delhi.

Mishra, 33, one of the most highest wicket-takers in the cash-rich T20 league took a return catch to dismiss Andre Russell off the last ball of the 17th over.

The catch became in instant Internet hit, with many jokingly, but cautiously asking if the leg spinner had caught the ball, or the ball caught the player.

Russell drilled the straight drive, but a brave Mishra stooped and took the blinder, which many thought was a dangerous move from the bowler.

Had the ball burst through his hands, it's for sure, his face would have been greatly damaged.

And importantly, Delhi Daredevils won the match by 27 runs.
