New Delhi: When it comes to the Indian Premier League (IPL), it's difficult to keep West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard out of action.

Pollard, one of the most dangerous batsmen in the tournament, often finds himself making news for all the wrong reasons

In one of the matches of 2014 season against Royal Challengers Bangalore, pacer Mitchell Starc was involved in a heated exchange of words with the right-hander.

Matters got worse when Pollard deliberately moved away at the last moment while facing Starc, but instead of stopping, Starc completed his delivery in full speed. Pollard didn't like it and threw his bat towards the bowler. But since he held it at the last moment, it fell near him and nowhere close to the Australian speedster.

It remains to be one of the most ugliest incidents in history of the tournament.
