WATCH: Mumbai Indians' new recruit Martin Guptill pulls off incredible catch in first training session

New Delhi: Mumbai Indians' newest acquisition Martin Guptill on Friday participated in the first training session with his new team.

While the Kiwi is known for his abilities with the bat, he surprised onlookers when he pulled off something spectacular in the field.

The New Zealander completed an amazing catch during a fielding drill, diving full length to his right.

Guptill's effort was cheered on by MI payers and the handful of people at the ground.

The right-hander was drafted into the squad after an injury to Lendl Simmons. Guptill is expected to play his first game for the franchise against Gujarat Lions on Saturday.
