Washington: Veteran Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris has said that he is hoping to be a part of the Test squad defending the Ashes again in 2015.
Harris, who has been a revelation during the back-to-back Ashes series, played four Tests in England where he was Australia`s standout player and followed that up with supreme performances at home, where he has picked up 17 wickets this series as he, Mitchell Johnson and Peter Siddle terrorised England`s batsmen.
According to Fox Sports, Harris said that he would love to have one more trip to England to try and defend the Ashes, adding that he has spoken to coach Darren Lehmann and captain Michael Clarke on the issue.
However, Harris admitted that he still has a long way to go, as he needs to have his troublesome knee assessed after it before thinking too far ahead.
Harris will go to South Africa first, where Australia will play a three- Test series in February and March, the report added.
