REVEALED: Harbhajan Singh tells what he told Aussies after which they stopped sledging him

New Delhi: Veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has been one of the most aggressive cricketers to have played for the Indian cricket team.

The veteran offie was never the one to be intimated by opponents and he has the reputation of holding the bull by its horns.

In an exclusive chat with on show ‘What The Duck’ with cricket humourist Vikram Sathaye, Bhajji revealed how he once tackled the sledging by the Aussies, who were known to be the masters of the art.

The Turbanator recalled how once while he was batting in a match at Bangalore, Darrren Lehmann, who was fielding at short leg, was trying to break his concentration through sledging. Bhajji said that as Lehmann continued to speak, he looked at his tummy and asked, "Are you pregnant?" Lehmann was upset with Bhajji's comments and started abusing him. When Bhajji began his spell in the next innings, he gave it back to the Aussies with a seven-wicket haul which forced Glenn McGrath to give a statement next day where he asked his team-mates to stop provoking Harbhajan, as he was only getting better.
