REVEALED: List of celebrities performing at 2016 Indian Premier League opening ceremony

New Delhi: Cricket fans are in for a treat as another season of the world's favorite T20 league is set to kick off on April 9.

Before international cricket stars set the field of fire, audiences can look forward to a glamor-filled opening ceremony on April 8 at the Wankhede stadium.

Jacqueline Fernandez, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and an all-girl English pop band TBC will perform during the opening ceremony of IPL 9.

That's not all. The ceremony will also feature 200 dancers, mass cast performers, folk artists and percussionists.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians take on new boys Rising Pune Supergiants in Match 1 of the cash-rich league's new season.
