New Delhi: India's limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni is often credited for being the first player to execute the helicopter shot.

While several players have showcased their versions of the shot since then, Mahi's is considered as the original.

However a rare cricket video has now surfaced, in which it can be seen that former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin in fact played a similar shot in the early 90s.
