ISL 2015: Kerala Blasters vs FC Goa – Players to watch out for

New Delhi: Kerala Blasters and FC Goa will be engrossed in an exciting battle in match No. 50 on Sunday in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.

Kerala lie at the bottom table and will want to win their last two games to move up the table. It has been a season to forget for last year's finalists. They will face a tough opposition in Goa who lie third in the table.

The last time these two sides met, it was a 2-1 win for FC Goa.

Kerala come from a 1-1 draw in their last match against Mumbai City FC and it looks like they will need a change of luck to win this tie given their tough run.

FC Goa meanwhile, have two matches to go in the league round and a win will see them go second in the points table. Zico's side will qualify for the semis if they win Sunday's tie.

The JLN stadium will hope to witness an intense 90 minutes of enthralling football given the situation that Kerala will look to play for pride in front of their home fans. The tactical approach will be key for both teams.

We look at players who could make a major impact in the game for both the teams.

Antonio German (Kerala Blasters): The Englishman who was sidelined through injury in the early stages of the campaign, has been pivotal for Kerala since his return. German has scored five goals in seven matches for his side and has been consistent in finding the net. With his pace he will love to be a trouble for Goa and the away side need to be wary of that.

Reinaldo (FC Goa): Reinaldo has been Gaurs' top scorer this season and like German (Kerala), he has been injured in the sidelines. But his return serves as a huge boost to Zico. The Brazilian has scored four times this year in eight appearances and has an assist to his name. His ability to create and be swift upfront could be key to Goa's chances.
