Champions League: Luke Shaw thanks PSV fans for goodwill gesture
Shaw is unlikely to return to first-team action until at least April.

New Delhi: Manchester defender Luke Shaw acknowledged travelling PSV Eindhoven fans to Old Trafford for their goodwill gesture through a banner in supporting him.
PSV supporters are to display a banner towards the Manchester United left-back. who broke his leg in the first Champions League encounter in September.
Shaw thanked the fans on Twitter and stated he will be looking forward to the game tonight at Old Trafford.

Shaw had his leg broken in two places after a challenge from Héctor Moreno in Eindhoven and is unlikely to return to first-team action until at least April.
United players who are usually required to attend all matches when injured, but Louis van Gaal has taken the rare step of giving Shaw the evening off.
