Liverpool will win title soon, says Brendan Rodgers

London: Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers has promised to bring an end to Liverpool`s 25 year title draught, and win a title soon.

Rodgers said that if they fail to lift a title this year, then it will happen soon. Next May, it will be a quarter of a century since Alan Hansen became the last Liverpool captain to lift a championship trophy. And, while many fans have spent the summer anguishing over how close Rodgers` men came to finishing first last season, the Kop boss insists there is no lingering sense of regret inside Anfield, the Metro reported. I wasn`t lying on a sun lounger on a beach over the summer crying and fretting over the fact that we lost the league. There is only an excitement and a belief inside the club that we can challenge again for the title this time.
