Railways in quarter-finals of 3rd Hockey India Women Nationals

Lucknow: Jasjeet Kaur struck five gaols as star-studded Railways mauled Tamil Nadu 16-0 to enter the quarterfinals of the 3rd Hockey India Senior Women National Championship at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium he on Sunday.

In the other match, Himachal Pradesh thrashed Tripura 12-0 in Pool G. Goal scores for Himachal Pradesh were Nisha (10th, 13th, 44th), Sonia II (19th, 22nd, 69th), Pooja (23rd, 57th), Dimple (26th, 33rd), Sonia I (67th) and Ritu (31st). In pool E, Andhra Pradesh got walkover from Arunachal Pradesh. In Pool C, Jharkhand defeated Goa 17-0. PTI
