New Delhi: Days after he was slammed for his outragerous remark where he expressed his desire to spit on PV Sindhu's historic achievement at Rio, film director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan has now issued a clarification.

As a result of severe backlash from thousands of fans, award-winning director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan took to Facebook again to issue a detailed clarification about his previous post.

While the country was busy celebrating Sindhu's historic Silver medal at Rio Olympics, Sanal wrote on Facebook "Everyone is celebrating Sindhu's achievement now. What if I spit on this? What is there to celebrate much about it?"

Thousands of fans slammed Sanal for his weird remark after which he issued a detailed clarification.

As one can see in the comments box below his post on FB, the director was once again trolled by the fans who didn't agree with his clarification.
