AIMPLB cries conspiracy, to request PM Modi to withdraw instant triple talaq bill

The AIMPLB on Sunday said that it will request PM Modi to withhold and withdraw the proposed Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2017. The Union Cabinet had on December 15, 2017, cleared the bill. The bill seeks to make the practice of instant triple talaq "illegal and void" and provides for a jail term for the husband.
