Sunil Pal wants Sunil Grover – Kapil Sharma to reunite, slams YouTube comedians; AIB hits back

Mumbai: A video of Great Indian Laughter Challenge winner Sunil Pal was posted on Facebook Friday last week by Sunil Pal Comedian FC. Titled ‘Sad news for COMEDY WORLD’, the video showed Pal expressing his grief over the ugly spat between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover.

Pal also said that he is extremely sad to know that ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, was being taken off air. He urged the two great comedians to reunite and save the world of comedy from those who sell “below the belt” humour, indirectly referring to AIB, SNG Comedy, East India Comedy and others.

Rohan Joshi, co-founder of AIB reacted by writing, “Sir aap Itna tension kyon le rahe ho. Aap hi ne toh news channel pe kahaa tha ke humaare shows pe sirf gay aur lesbian log jinka kaam hai "samaaj ko bigaadna" aate hai. Toh aapki audience ko toh kuch nahi hoga. Lekin ek baat zaroor maanni padegi. Yeh ek video aapke Saare comedy se zyaada funny tha. Bees saal lagey aapko lekin chalo ek toh funny video nikaala zindagi mein (sic).”

After watching the video, Rahul Subramanian, another comedian popular on social media wrote, “When you want to cry in front of camera but tears are on a holiday (sic).”
