Lower body paralysed but this 64-year-old is battling all odds to educate students

Saharanpur: The lower-half of Uma Sharma's body is paralysed. Yet, this 64-year-old has not lost any hope. She is the principal of National Public School and has been instructing authorities from her bed.

From the past ten years, she has been using tablet and mobile phone to teach students. She also takes virtual classes.

Uma Sharma has faced a lot of tragedies in her life. Her husband passed away 27 years ago. Soon after, both her son and her daughter died in a road accident.

However, she did not let these tragedies affect her morale and took to teaching students.
