Audi A3 sedan launched at starting price of Rs 30.5 lakh

The new Audi A3 sedan is available in both petrol and diesel fuel options.

New Delhi: German luxury car maker Audi on Thursday launched its new A3 sedan with price starting at Rs 30.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) as part of its strategy to reinforce product portfolio preparing for the next decade in India.

The new A3 is sportier than the previous one with efficient engine technology and is the company's fifth launch of the year out of the 10 launches it has planned.

The new A3 sedan is available in both petrol and diesel fuel options.

The petrol version with a 1.4 lite engine is priced Rs 30.5 lakh onwards while the diesel variant powered by a 2 litre engine starts at Rs 32.3 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Audi A3 1.4 litre TFSI petrol motor replaces the existing 1.8 litre TFSI engine and comes mated to a 7-speed S-tronic automatic gearbox.

The  Audi A3 diesel comes with 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine churning 139 bhp and develops 320 Nm of peak torque.
