Aamir Khan unveils Kamal Haasan's action-packed Vishwaroop 2 trailer - Watch

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan unveiled the Hindi version of Kamal Haasan starrer Vishwaroop 2 trailer on Monday evening. The film which happens to be a sequel to 2013 spy-thriller Vishwaroop, also stars Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles.

Aamir took to Twitter to share the link to the trailer by posting: "Dear Kamal Sir, congratulations to you and to the entire team of Vishwaroop 2 ! Wishing you all the very best.  Love and respect always.  Aamir. #Vishwaroop2Trailer @ikamalhaasan (sic)."

The Telugu version of the film was launched by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr aka Junior NTR while the Tamil version was unveiled by Kamal's elder daughter Shruti Haasan.

The series is one of Haasan's most ambitious projects and had been in production for quite some time.

Here's how the makers have described the film's narrative on YouTube - "The Master plan attack of New York City by Al-Quada terrorist Omar Qureshi Was destroyed by an Indian Intelligence Bureau Agent Wisam through investigation. Meanwhile main terrorist Omar and Saleem had escaped from New York, Wisam was given the responsibility to kill Omar along with his co-terrorists (sic)."
