Aashiqui 3 update: Here's what you should know about Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra starrer!

New Delhi: The much-talked about musical 'Aashiqui 3' has been in news for the longest. Recently, there was a strong buzz doing the rounds that Vishesh Films will be collaborating with a production house other than T-Series for the third instalment of 'Aashiqui' franchise.

According to dnaindia.com, the rumour has been quashed as Mukesh Bhatt from Vishesh Films has clarified over it. The report quotes him as saying, “The Aashiqui franchise is a labour of love which was created by my brother, Mahesh Bhatt, Shri Gulshan Kumar and myself back in 1990. Our association for the movies with T-Series has been a proud and dear one and will continue being so for Aashiqui 3. This is a partnership between Vishesh Films and T-Series only and we are very excited to continue this journey with them.”

Bhushan Kumar, Managing Director, T-Series, added, “Aashiqui has been a film which is close to our hearts and I will be working on this film with Bhatt Saab and Mukeshji. It’s a film which will be made under T-Series and Vishesh Films banner as always. Aashiqui is a successful association that we have and will continue to have.”

The report further mentions about the star cast of 'Aashiqui 3' which tentatively happens to be Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Yes! Although, there is no formal announcement regarding the venture as yet, there has been a lot of speculation about it.

Alia and Sidharth made their debut together in Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year'.
