Fukrey Returns movie tweet review: Fukreys are back with Bholi Punjaban

Fukrey Returns is a sequel to 2013 super-hit film Fukrey directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.

Mumbai: Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba Fukrey Returns, a sequel to 2013 super-hit comedy film Fukrey, promises to be a laugh riot. Pulkit Samrat , Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha starrer has hit the silverscreen today and we can’t wait to watch the antics of Fukron ki toil and Bholi Punjaban.

The makers introduced the trailer with a poetic riddle. It read:

Fukron ki toli aa gayi hai waapis aur ab hai payback ki baari,

Bholi Punjaban ka badla padega in Fukron pe bhaari

Kya Choocha kar paayega complete apni prem kahaani?

Kya Hunny decode kar paayega saari bhavishyavaani?

Kya Lali dhoondh paayega apne sapno ki rani?

Kya Zafar bana paayega apni life, simple waali?”

Fukrey was a massive hit in 2013. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the film, set in Delhi, was about four men -- Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Choocha (Varun Sharma), Lali (Manjot Singh) and Zafar (Ali Fazal) - who dream of making it big and want to make easy money.

They approach the notorious Bholi (Richa Chadha) to invest in their plan but things go haywire and how they escape from it formed the plot line of Fukrey.

The film steers away from crass jokes and double meaning dialogues, something which Pulkit said comes from the sensibility of everyone involved with the project.

The trailer of Fukrey Returns are garnered an amazing response and we can’t wait for the release of the film to see Fukra boys back in action.
