'Lipstick Under My Burkha' performs better at the Box Office on weekdays

New Delhi: Filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava's latest release 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' has started picking up the pace at the Box Office. You will be amazed to know that the weekday collections are higher than the opening day, which is kinda unusual in B-Town.

The Ratna Pathak starrer reportedly minted more than Rs 1.3 crore on Tuesday. It is being said that the total earnings of the flick have now crossed Rs 8t crore mark. Movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh recently took to twitter to confirm the same.

'Lipstick Under My Burkha' also features Konkona Sen Sharma, Aahana Kumra and Plabita Borthakur in lead roles. The film struggled for certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) earlier this year over its sexual scenes and dialogues loaded with expletives.
