Omerta trailer: Rajkummar Rao in a gritty thriller will keep you hooked—Watch

New Delhi: Bollywood's one of the finest finds, actor Rajkummar Rao will be seen next in 'Omerta', a film by renowned director Hansal Mehta. Together, this actor-director jodi has always worked wonders at the Box Office and won critical acclaim as well.

'Omerta' trailer has been unveiled and it looks every bit interesting. The gritty thriller has Rajkummar playing terrorist Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh and he does full justice to his part.

The storyline showcases the horrific 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India for which Omar was arrested and served time in prison and the plotting of murder of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002.

Also, we get to see the sneak-peek references to 1994 Delhi Kidnappings, the 9/11 World Trade Centre attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror strike—and the kind of ghastly impact it had on humanity.

The voiceover in the trailer will haunt you. The film is set to release on April 20, 2018. It features Rajkummar in the lead role while Rajesh Tailang, Rupinder Nagra, Kewal Arora and Timothy Ryan Hickernell play pivotal parts.

The chilling thriller has been written by Mukul Dev and Hansal Mehta.
