Rajkummar Rao kicks off his Fanney Khan journey – See pic

New Delhi: Actor Rajkummar Rao's Bollywood career is on a roll these days. After impressing the critics with his breakthrough performance in Newton, the 33-year-old hunk has now embarked on the Fanney Khan journey.

"Day 1 on the sets of #FanneyKhan with wonderful @AnilKapoor sir. Brilliant energy on set," he tweeted along with a picture. To which, the 60-year-old star replied, "The energy just doubled on set as soon as you walked in! Welcome! Rajkummar Rao #FanneyKhan."

Considering a collaboration between these two outstanding performers, the movie is expected to be quite intriguing.

Fanney Khan is reportedly the official remake of the Oscar-nominated Dutch film Everybody's Famous. It will be directed by Atul Manjrekar and feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
