New Delhi: Bollywood's generation next actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt not only have managed to amass a huge fan following but also have proved their mettle on the big screens.

They have an impressive filmography to their credit respectively. Fans love to watch them on big screens together and this proves why 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' was a huge hit this year.

Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan took to Twitter and shared a rehearsal video of the stars before they started work on 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'. Recently, Varun and Alia received their Zee Cine Awards 2018 trophy for playing their characters too well in the film.

Varun bagged the Best Actor award for 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' while Alia got the 'Viewers Choice Best Actress' trophy for the same film. The music of this one too topped the chartbuster lists at the time of the release of the film. Remember 'Humsafar' and 'Tamma Tamma'? The film happens to be a sequel to 2014 superhit 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' which starred Varun and Alia in the lead roles.

Varun and Alia made their debut together in Karan Johar's directorial 'Student Of The Year' along with Sidharth Malhotra in 2012.
