Varun Dhawan in Karan Johar's 'Rannbhoomi'!

New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar keeps his Twitter family happy with his project announcements done right on the micro-blogging site. He first teased a small video last night on Twitter about his big announcement related to a project which finally turned out to be quite an exciting one.

KJo took to the micro-blogging site this morning and shared details of a fresh project with Varun Dhawan. Yes! The 'Judwaa 2' actor will be seen in a film titled 'Rannbhoomi' by Dharam Productions. It will be helmed by 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' director Shashank Khaitan.

'Rannbhoomi' will be hitting the theatres on Diwali, 2020. Whoa! Looks like filmmakers are blocking their dates well in advance. The female lead has not yet been announced by the makers.

Varun and Shashank Khaitan have previously worked together in two films—Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhani and Badrinath Ki Dulhani, making 'Rannbhoomi' their third film together.

So, will it be another Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan outing on the big screens? Well, only time can tell.
