AR Rahman teams up with Reliance for solo single

New Delhi: Grammy winning composer AR Rahman, who is all set to bring out his solo single after a gap of 14 years, has partnered with Reliance Industries for the upcoming project.

His last album `Vande Mataram` released in 1997. After that, he got busy contributing background scores for the various big blockbusters, including Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Rockstar’ and the recent being ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. The Grammy winner is being guarded on the details. Teams from four countries are reportedly working together to bring this to life with some of the best names in Hollywood, said a release. The release date of the single will be announced next week. PTI
