Test songs on children, says Geri Halliwell

Geri Halliwell feels the best way to test one`s music skills is by making children listen to them.

Los Angeles: Singer Geri Halliwell feels the best way to test one`s music skills is by making children listen to them.
The 40-year-old is mother to Bluebell, seven. She makes her little one listen to her new tracks.
"My daughter listens to my own music, the way I test a really great song is to ask a child whether they like it," thesun.co.uk quoted Halliwell as saying. Halliwell is currently working on a new track with songwriter Amy Wadge, who was also the writer of singer Ed Sheeran`s songs in the past. "Amy wrote `Gold rush` with Ed Sheeran and we wrote in her shed together in Wales. I`m writing a new album and we`ve been doing stripped down, acoustic sets - I`m progressing to new sounds," she said. IANS
