Air India launches non-stop Ahmedabad to Newark flight with flying time of just 9.5 hours

Ahmedabad: There is good news for air travellers! Air India on Monday launched a non-stop flight from Ahmedabad to London Heathrow and the same aircraft will fly on to Newark, in New Jersey. The entire flying time will take only 9.5 hours against 12.5 hours which takes usually take flying via Mumbai

The flight AI-171 will take off from from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5 AM  and reach London at 10.15 AM GMT and will depart for Newark at 12.30 PM, reaches at 3 PM. 

The flight AI-172 flies back from Newark every Monday, Thursday and Friday and will reach Ahmedabad via London.

Air India will deploy Boeing 787-Dreamliner on the route, which will have 18 business class seats and 238 economy class seats.
