Air India CEO resignation: Air India on Tuesday confirmed that its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director, Campbell Wilson, has resigned from his position.

Air India CEO resignation: Multiple reports said that Air India Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Campbell Wilson has resigned before his term ends.

West Asia Travel Update: Air India will run services between Delhi and Dubai. Air India Express will operate flights connecting Delhi and Mumbai with Abu Dhabi, and Mangaluru with Sharjah. 

The airline said the surcharge will range from Rs 199 to Rs 1,300 across its domestic and international routes. 

Air India Flights: The Ministry of Civil Aviation said on Wednesday that Indian airlines are set to operate 58 flights between India and the Gulf region to facilitate the movement of stranded passengers in West Asia due to the ongoing conflict. 

The flights are scheduled to land at airports including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Ahmedabad and Thiruvananthapuram.

A ground collision at Mumbai airport involved two passenger aircraft, Air India flight AI2732 from Mumbai to Coimbatore, which was stationary on the taxiway, and IndiGo flight 6E 791 from Hyderabad to Mumbai, taxiing after landing.

Air India grounded a Boeing 787-8 after a pilot reported a possible fuel control switch defect.

Airline  advised passengers to check their flight status on the airline’s website before proceeding to the airport as Iran abruptly closed its airspace, impacting several international flights.

India’s aviation regulator has issued a show-cause notice to Air India cockpit crew for operating multiple flights between Delhi and Tokyo despite being aware of safety and compliance lapses.

Delhi Airport Flight Status: IndiGo said that foggy conditions are present across Delhi and several airports in northern India this morning and if reduced visibility conditions persist, flight departures and arrivals may be impacted as the day progresses.

Air India's Delhi-Mumbai Flight Engine Shutdown: Air India said the airline is providing immediate assistance to affected passengers and that “alternative arrangements have been made to fly them to their destination shortly”. 

Airport teams will monitor delays, make regular announcements, and proactively rebook impacted passengers on alternative flights.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Civil Aviation invoked its regulatory powers to ensure fair and reasonable fares across all affected routes amid IndiGo’s operational crisis.

Airbus Software Update: Air India said it has successfully completed the reset on over 90 per cent of its operating A320 family aircraft that were impacted by EASA and Airbus’ requirement for a software realignment.

The company has also set up a state-of-the-art facility in Gurugram -- a first of its kind in the country -- to train its cabin crew and pilots.  

Customers with itineraries combining flights operated by both airlines can travel on a single-ticket and benefit from a unified baggage allowance. 

The Air India’s request for financial help includes funding to upgrade its systems and services and to build in-house engineering and maintenance departments, according to a report from Bloomberg, citing sources.
